Root realme 7 and Narzo 20 pro without PC

 

Realme 7 or RMX2151PU is such a powerful budget phone cause it comes with beast level Mediatek G95 processor which has ARM cortex, Also featuring the latest ARM Mali-G76 GPU.

Realme Narzo 20 pro and realme 7 are different phone but they're sharing same hardware so we can root these phone with same method and even we can use same same boot.img and vbmeta.img files in these phones.

Pre-requirements

1. More than 50% charged phone.

2. Unlocked Bootloader

 

3. A secondary phone 

3. Image build must be same as per your device

Let's root

 

Note : Your bootloader must be unlocked to root realme 7 and Narzo 20 pro

Patching boot.img for realme 7 or Narzo 20 pro

1. Download boot.img and vbmeta.img for realme 7 or narzo 20 pro according to your phone's build number from above links.

3. Download and install latest magisk manager here

4. Run latest magisk manager 

5. In magisk , tap on install as shown in the image below.

6. Now , click on ‘Select and Patch a file’ and browse the boot.img file from your phone storage.

7. Navigate to your downloaded Boot.img for realme 7 file and patch the file as shown in the image below.

8. Wait for couple of seconds and Magisk will create new patched boot.img file.

9.After completing the process, newly patched boot.img file will be saved in download folder. Rename magisk_patched.img output file to boot.img only.

 10.Transfer your patched_boot.img and vbmeta.img file secondary phone.

Flash patched boot image in Realme 7 or Narzo 20 pro

1. Bring a secondary phone which supports OTG cable.
 
2. Enable usb debugging in your realme 7 or narzo 20 pro.
 
3. Connect realme 7 or narzo 20 pro with secondary phone using OTG .
 
4. Download Bugjaeger tool in secondary phone.
 
5. Open bugjaeger tool and click on fastboot tab.

6. Tap on reboot to bootloader button in bugjaeger tool it will boot your phone in fastboot mode.
 
7. If your phone succesfully booted in fastboot mode.
 
8. Click on floating arrow (<>) button it will open a terminal.
 
9. To check your realme 7 or narzo 20 pro is connected or not in fastboot mode type "FASTBOOT DEVICES" in terminal.

10. If terminal displaying serial number like this that's mean your phone is connected.

11. Type "FASTBOOT FLASH BOOT address of patched boot image" in terminal.

12. Type "fastboot --disable-verity --disable-verification flash address of vbmeta" in terminal .
 
13. Type "FASTBOOT REBOOT"
 
14. Boom, root successful welcome in superuser community.
