How to unlock bootloader and install twrp in redmi 4

 What is bootloader?

A boot loader, also called a boot manager, is a small program that places the operating system (OS) of a computer into memory. 

A bootloader is responsible for booting the android device . So to tweak the android , you have to unlock your device bootloader.

Each phone has different way to unlock bootloader.

But Xiomi provide , unlock tool to unlock bootloader os mi or redmi device . 

Lets discuss how can we unlock bootloader and install twrp in redmi 4.

Download:

TWRP(Prada) : Download Fastboot ABD platform tool :Download Mi unlock tool : Download Lazy flasher : Download

Procedure to unlock bootloader : 

Step 1 :  Enable developer option , by tapping on build number 5 time 

Step 2 :  Now , enable Usb debugging under developer option.

Step 3 : Power off device , boot device in fastboot mode by pressing Volume down + Power key simultaneously.

Step 4 : Open Mi unlock tool in pc 

Step 5 : Connect your device with pc , hit on unlock in MI Unlock tool

Your phone will be rebootted automatically 

Procedure to install twrp:

Step 1 : Connect your device with pc 

Step 2 : Open fastboot adb tool , paste your twrp in this folder.

Step 3 : Open powershell window here , type fastboot flash recovery twrp.img

Step 4 : Now , type fastboot boot twrp.img

Your phone will automatically boots in twrp
